A Heartfelt Thank You to our Amazing School Community: 

We want to extend a HUGE thank you to everyone for your incredible contributions of time, donations, money, and sweat equity throughout the year. 

We are proud to share that our biggest event of the year, the Fun Fair raised a net total of $19,000.  This success was truly the result of your participation and support.  We want to extend our gratitude to every single one of you who helped us to make this happen.  To those who helped us organize the event itself, volunteered their time (DJing, setting/cleaning up, working at a station, running to get more groceries, etc.),  lent items from home (such as BBQs, coolers, tents, tables, etc), donated items (tickets, bracelets, baskets items, drinks, baked goods, etc), we could not have done this without your help (big or small), so thank you! The earnings made from the event will directly benefit the IRC students and classrooms next year.  Here are some photos of the Fun Fair. 

Thank you to all the volunteers who helped us with Charlotte's rock garden. Your hard work, especially in the middle of that heat wave, is truly inspiring. The first phase of Charlotte's garden is a beautiful tribute to her and is deeply meaningful to her family and our entire community. We are so grateful to everyone who contributed from our school community and the TDSB to make this happen before the year ended. It’s a wonderful testament to what we can achieve together.  Please checkout the photos of Charlotte's Rock Garden if you haven't had a chance to check it out in person yet. 

A big shout out as well to everyone who donated delicious breakfast items and beverages for the staff appreciation breakfast. The quotes were a hit and very much appreciated by all. Special thanks to all the parents who braved the early morning heat to set up and to help tidy up. You’re all amazing!  Checkout spread of food and quotes sent in by the families. 

It’s been a wonderful year filled with so many accomplishments and great times. Wishing everyone a fabulous summer!

What an unforgettable day! Our annual Funfair brought joy, laughter, and excitement to our community, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing generosity of our sponsors. Your support helped us pull off a fantastic event that brought our school community together in the best way possible.

Thanks to your contributions, we raised an incredible $19,000! Every dollar, donated prize, and sponsored game, inflatable or show made a difference—helping us host a fun-filled day while raising much-needed funds to support our school programs and initiatives.

Big or small, every bit of support counted, and we’re deeply grateful to each and every one of you for being part of this success. Together, you helped us create a day full of special memories for our families and students.

Looking ahead, we’re excited to tackle some big goals, including saving up for a new school playground that will benefit generations of students. Community support like yours is at the heart of making projects like this possible.
